ONEPLUS 7 has new leaks including 3 new colours. In this video we take a look at the OnePlus 7 leaks, rumours and specs!

OnePlus 7 is on the horizon for the 2019 release, and there is alot of speculations around the specs and rumours as build up the hype for the OnePlus 7 release date.

Here is what we know so far!

New gradient colour options for the OnePlus 7 have leaked via Tiger Mobiles, and it looks every bit as gorgeous on the outside in Black Yellow, Black Purple and Cyan Grey as it is rumoured to be on the inside.

We’re still at least two months from launch for the OnePlus 7, yet online retailer Giztop has ‘leaked’ key details such as the price and specs. We’re almost certain it’s a load of old tosh, especially since the OnePlus 7 comes in more than £70 cheaper than the OnePlus 6T, listed on the site at £426.75/US$569/€500.72.

The listing is otherwise in line with rumoured specifications for the upcoming device, suggesting the retailer has likely created a product page based on rumours to drum up some hype and backlinks to its site.

It says the OnePlus 7 will have a 6.5in AMOLED screen with waterdrop display and in-display fingerprint sensor, a 2.84GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with Adreno 640 GPU, 8/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage, a triple-lens rear camera (48Mp + 20Mp + 5Mp), a 16Mp pop-up selfie camera, a 4,000mAh battery that supports 44W Dash Charge, and the Oxygen OS 9 OS based on Android Pie.

Jump straight to more specification and feature rumours.

When is the OnePlus 7 release date?
There has been much talk of OnePlus releasing a 5G phone in the first half of 2019 – before the end of May, according to the company – and at MWC in February it showed off the mystery device hidden behind glass.

It’s thought that this will be a more expensive version of the standard OnePlus 7, which won’t support 5G, and thus it makes sense that both phones launch in May.

OnePlus typically launches two flagship phones per year, with the most recent OnePlus 6T announced in late October 2018 and on sale in early November.

Prior to this the OnePlus 6 was announced on 16 May 2018, following the announcement of the OnePlus 5 on 20 June 2017.

How much will the OnePlus 7 cost?
Value is a key USP of OnePlus’ flagship smartphone line, and though we’ve come a long way from the £219 OnePlus One we don’t think OnePlus is ready to break the £500 barrier just yet.

The OnePlus 6T starts at £499, and we’ve seen nothing in the rumoured specs to suggest the OnePlus 7 will hike this price any further – at least not for the standard model. We would expect a 5G version to cost more, potentially up to £599.

At the top of this article we’ve outlined a Giztop listing that includes pricing at £426.75/US$569/€500.72, but we don’t assume it to be accurate.

In the UK it’s possible to buy the OnePlus 6T on contract, which means you don’t need to pay the full amount up front. For the OnePlus 7 this is also expected to be possible in the US, though the 5G version will not go on sale there, according to the company.

OnePlus 7 specification and feature rumours
At MWC OnePlus confirmed the 5G phone it was teasing behind glass would run the Snapdragon 855 with the X50 modem, and it was apparent that the device also had a 21:9 display. Little else was given away.

  1. fuck oneplus, you could have easily given the headphone jack instead of that shit less durable same 16mp pop up camera,,jst a strategy of earning money through wireless headphones, shame

  2. If the reported UFS 3.0 is being used, I hope OnePlus will add USB 3.0 instead of the current USB 2.0 transfer speeds cos transfers will be held back by this if they don't. Also, I want to see them try an in-display front camera using the same technology/technique the fingerprint sensor uses. Pete Lau already said it won't have wireless charging also as they don't see the point when the wired charging is ridiculously fast already, leaving out wireless charging keeps prices down to, I totally agree with this as wireless charging is stupidly slow and gimmicky compared to the speeds they can charge at using their charging technology.

  3. they should just make it faster, have more battery life (not necesserily, thought because of performance increase), and waterproofnes

  4. Lee first off your like a breath of fresh air you give pricings in Pounds Sterling as opposed to dollars thanks Lee but back to the phone I would not have worried to much if the OP7 was £700 but I'm afraid I do not like the pop-up camera so I'm getting the Huawei P30 Pro I really like OnePlus as I have a 6T as my main driver but I don't like moving parts
