New Samsung Galaxy S10 render shows reverse charging feature

We know the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+ and S10e (or S10 Lite, as some previously called it) are to be announced on 20 February in San Francisco. And we are pretty sure the Galaxy S10 and S10+, at the very least, will have reverse charging. Now we have visual evidence.

A leaked, official-looking render obtained by German website WinFuture shows a Samsung Galaxy S10+ with a pair of the company’s new Galaxy Buds wireless headphones on the rear. That’s because the new phones are said to be able to wirelessly charge other devices, much like the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

You can rest any other device with Qi charging on the back and it will potentially transfer charge across.

The image is the first we’ve seen that allegedly shows the feature in action.

In addition, WinFuture has received what it claims to be a rear render image of the 1TB Galaxy S10+ in ceramic black. The flagship model – which is rumoured to cost between €1,500 and €1,600 – will have a ceramic body rather than aluminium and will therefore look slightly different to the regular “prism black” edition.

All phones will be officially revealed in little under two weeks time during Samsung Unpacked. Pocket-lint will be there to bring you more.
