Samsung's Galaxy S10E, the so-called 'cheap' model, has leaked out

Samsung is weeks away from unveiling the next Galaxy S10, and we suspect there will be several models, including a low-cost version.

Thanks to numerous reports and leaks, it looks like Samsung will announce an affordable Galaxy S10 device called the Galaxy S10E. WinFuture has even published images of the 5.8-inch device, revealing its thicker bezels and dual cameras. The upcoming phone, which is expected to sell for around $859, won’t exactly be cheap, coming in at $100 more than Apple’s entry-level iPhone XR.

Nevertheless, it’ll arrive at that price, and with less-than-desirable features. For instance, it’s supposed to have a smaller battery and flat screen that doesn’t curve. While it’ll look like its pricier siblings, it’ll have some slight visual and spec differences. It does have the new hole-punch camera, however, and, oddly, a side fingerprint sensor instead of one on the rear or under the display.

Samsung might unveil three other Galaxy S10 models later this month, including the S10, S10 Plus, and an anniversary version that supports 5G. Those are thought to include three rear cameras and in-display fingerprint sensors. For more information about them, see our guide here.

We should find out more at Samsung’s Unpacked event on 20 February.
